Have you been busy with quarantine cleaning? The PSO will be collecting gently used clothing, shoes, and soft goods to help raise money for Camp Scholarships for the students of Laremont School.
WHAT IS SAVERS?
The Savers family of stores is a for-profit, global thrift retailer offering great quality, gently used clothing, accessories and household goods. Their Rethink Reuse business model of purchasing, reselling and recycling gives communities a smart way to shop and keeps more than 700 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year. They also help more than 100 nonprofit organizations by purchasing donated goods from them, which provides a source of revenue to help support their vital community programs and services.
WHAT DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED?
Below are a list of items that can be donated and how much we earn for each:
Soft Goods: $.20 per pound
Small Houseware Items BOXED*: $.02 per pound *(They are only able to accept 35 boxes so sign up early!)
WHERE CAN I DROP-OFF MY DONATIONS?
We are partnering with the Warren Township for donation drop-off. The donation drop-off will be at the Warren Township Center located near the intersection of Washington St. & Almond Rd. Please follow the signs to Parking Lot C. We will have volunteers in the parking lot beginning at 8:00am on Saturday, December 5. Please pull up to the truck and a volunteer will help you with your donations.
HOW ARE YOU HANDLING COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS?
The safety of our volunteers and donors is paramount. We are asking that you wear a mask or face covering when dropping off your donations. All donations MUST be in a tied 13 or 33 gallon garbage bag. We will NOT accept any donations that are not sealed in a plastic garbage bag nor will we accept any donations if you have NOT signed up in advance!
If you have any additional questions please reach out to Stacie Chakiris, PSO President, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
